Paridym recently collaborated with our friends at Namu San Francisco to shoot a pilot video for their restaurant. Namu, created by brothers Dennis, Dan, and David Lee, is inspired by Korean and Japanese ingredients which produces award winning Pan-Asian cuisine handcrafted by head chef Dennis Lee himself.
I’ll stop right there because If I start talking about their food, I’ll start drooling, requiring me to change my shirt. Since I don’t have time to do laundry, I’ll just let you know about the restaurants three stars on the Michelin Guide, SF Stations top 10 restaurants award of 2007, and CitySearch’s best Pan-Asian food 2008 editorial winner. You can see the rest of the list on www.namubar.com or better yet, stop by and taste for yourself. Oh and if you’re lucky, you might even catch younger brother David spinning and setting the mood for an exquisite dining experience.
The shoot started early morning Saturday where we accompanied the Lee brothers to the Farmers Market at the Ferry building. All the ingredients are carefully handpicked and created to tantalize your taste buds with a fresh organic encounter. Director Mohammad Gorjestani focused on capturing the brothers in action and getting the story of the cuisine as it goes from concept to completion. Here are some behind the scenes shots:
